It makes the game jut impossible to play. One person found this helpful. I bought this game not expecting too much since most people here in the US have never even heard of speedway.
After a little practice since i'm not a gamer i have to say this game is a blast,and all the different tracks and riders and upgrades you can make to your bike had me staying up way past midnight on more than one occasion too. I bought a controller to make the game easier than using the buttons on the keyboard but didn't get the results i wanted. So i got my nephew to try the controller on one of his many games and he informed me it was the controller and not me or the game.
It was the logitec usb controller cost in US dollars about 25 dollars. So i do recomend getting a controller but get a good one and you'll love the game even more Oh but get ready if you like speedway you too might be in for a few late nights Have Fun Gregory Willis Speedway Grand Prix 4 is hopeless. Impossible to play. Seek out the vastly superior Speedway League or Liga - it's based on the Polish league but there is an English version. It's from the same firm Techland but once you've earned enough to buy a decent rear tyre to stop you sliding off coming out of the bends it plays very well except mine freezes if you try the replay. Apart from that it's very good. I bought this product for my 10 year old son, a speedway fanatic.

So being an avid gamer, and lifelong speedway fan I was looking forward to a few days at least of epic speedway racing. Well, I've been playing it for several weeks now, and am FAR from completing it! As you make progress you can change the difficulty level, and that really makes a difference! I think it will be with me for a long time, but I will never tire of it.
I love it! I was expecting this game to be quite good, but it is just awful. I like speedway and had FIM speedway gp3 and enjoyed it so had high expectations for is game. But it is terrible. The graphics are bearable, not good but not bad by any means.
The gameplay is alright, a few stupid things happen like you get knocked of the track and get disqualified for it when it isn't your fault. But the thing that threw it for me were the controls. They couldn't make them any worse!
You go into a corner and either the bike turns far too much or not enough and there is nothing you can do to fix it as the controls are unresponsive.
